What is "AMARGICE"?
AMARGICE! is the result of complex research work and product tests, to achieve the requests from hockey players, ice skatesr and licensed operator. Of particular importance was:• Usual driving style and braking• No sliding means• Less service effort• No energy costsThe material of AMARGICE! consists of high class physical rigged PE (polyethylene) and different admixtures, which allows the requested characteristics. The properties can exert the potential through a special developed method of production. The secret of AMARGICE! is not only the chemistry, but also it's physics.
How does "LIKE-ICE" work?
If you go ice skating on ice you principle skate on water. Because of the weight from the ice skater which create compression to the vat, the condition of aggregation becomes from hard (ice) to fluid (water). The result is a water film, which makes sliding on ice possible. On plastic isn´t something like that possible. Here is the biggest person not enough to change the condition of aggregation. For this reason, there is an additional sliding means on the existing generations. It looks like a good idea! Isn´t it possible to change the condition of aggregation into fluid, you put only some fluid in! But in praxis there are big drawbacks!

The sliding means has to put over      all. Isn´t that , you could fall down on dry places.
It takes also many times to put it      on, because it has to repeat depending on temperature and course.
The sliding means takes also dirt on      it, so the plastic ground is quick dirty – and again hindered sliding.
Some of the sliding means include      unhealthy ingredients, which can be dangerous by children.
If you fall on the ground you can get      stains on your clothes.

Now it is clear, why we tried to developed a product without all these nasty things. Like in many fields, you can learn, if you look at the nature of things in detail. The results of our internal study were basics for understanding of sliding act and the physical and chemical transformation to the product AMARGICE!. The result of this effort was a plastic ground, which doesn´t need any sliding means and has also better sliding qualities. AMARGICE works without sliding means, through the attainability of a unbelievable sliding on plastic. With AMARGICE there is no “stutter” and “bucking”, but a sliding like on ice!
Which configure are possible?
The plates can be handled with popular wood-working machines equal if buzz saw, pad saw, router or parquet grinder. For this reason it is possible to install curious configures too. The basic format is quadrate (1 x 1m) or oblong (1 x 2 m). But other formats are possible too.
Is it needful to do the installation through mechanics from AMARGO Company?
The plates with the key and slot joint system, the QUICK CONNECT system and The key and slot joint connect system can be arranged from every technique talented person. You need mechanics from the AMARGICE, for heat sealing the plates because there is experience and necessary equipment needful.
How long takes the delivery of the ice skating arena?
Depending on size and area the delivery takes 4 – 6 weeks. In very urgent case we try to be faster.
How long takes the installation of a ice skating arena?
The installation depends on size and connection system. Areas with round 200 m² can be installed with QUICK CONNECT in about 2 hours. For heat sealing round 1800 m² we need about 6 weeks.
How big and thick are the plastic plates?
At key and slot joint system and heat sealing is the size of the plates about 1 m x 2 m. At QUICK-CONNECT –connector system is the size of the plates about 1 m x 2 m. The AMARGO is the sole company, which has 3 standard material thicknesses (15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm) for offering. Furthermore the AMARGO can also produce nearly all material thicknesses.The thickness of the plates isn´t freely selectable. How thick the plates have to be, depends on the size of the area and for which using they are. For example: If you would like to order a 60 m long area with 15 mm thickness, because the ground is in this combination cheaper, it could happen, because of the temperature, that the ground will enlarge and jump out of the connection service. (Exception is if the ground is fused. Here the ground gets waves)It is only a sales trick, if you offer and sale for all areas 15 mm. The bill pays the customer later.The AMARGO developed special mathematic formulas, which shows what size to what thickness is needful.
