A 300-mL bottle made largely of flexible film has a carbon footprint 50% less than the PET bottle it replaces for Belgium's WCUP.
At this year`s Plastpol, which will take place in Kielce in Poland from 27 to 30 May, Arburg will demonstrate three exhibits on its representative stand. On Stand B 30 in Hall B, two Allrounder Golden Edition machines and a vertical Allrounder V will produce technical parts, thereby demonstrating the extraordinary versatility of this cost-effective machine series. Indeed, these exhibits perfectly address the requirements of the Polish market.
Euphoric mood in the exhibition halls, full order books and the outlook for excellent post-fair business - the two number one trade fairs, wire, International Wire and Cable Trade Fair, and Tube, International Tube Trade Fair, ended on a high note today.
At the international plastics trade fair Plastpol in Kielce / Poland, the Swiss company Netstal-Maschinen AG, producer of the famous injection moulding machines bearing the same name, is demonstrating its perfectly established SynErgy machine on the exhibition stand of its agent MUEHSAM Jan Krzysztof Muehsam. The application in question is typical for the area of thin-wall injection moulding and underpins the performance capability of this range of Netstal equipment.
No longer are they merely decoration. Labels today are performing more and more functions. In addition to the marketing aspect of a finely printed label for a brand, labels are also used to guard against counterfeiting and tampering. Advances in print technology make it possible to integrate new functions into labels. At interpack PROCESSES AND PACKAGING 2008 from 24 to 30 April in Düsseldorf, manufacturers of label materials and applicator systems will display their latest developments.
